The following terms and conditions are in place to ensure that we maintain a safe and fair workshop.

Quotes Versus Estimates:​

Andys Moto Services LTD does not ‘quote’ prices but estimates the cost of repairs. This is because the actual price can only be determined upon completion of the work/job/repairs. Best efforts are undertaken to give a realistic estimate of what is ultimately required to complete the job. However, it will vary from bike to bike, due to factors like the condition of the vehicle and its parts, how easily parts are removed/refitted and/or when other parts not predicted are required to complete the job. Andys Moto Services LTD does undertake to keep customers informed if the price is likely to exceed the original estimate.

Once the job is completed or the parts, gear and accessories have arrived:​

• The customer is liable for all costs incurred for the job/completion of work/parts, gear and accessories ordered in.

• Payment by the customer for the job/work/repairs/parts is due in full upon completion of the job/when the parts arrive, and when the customer is informed of this.

• The motorcycle or the parts, gear and accessories are not to leave the possession of Andys Moto Services LTD until payment is made in full, without prior agreement and arrangement.

• Parts, gear and/or accessories will be retained for a maximum of 7 days following the date of the invoice, if no payment and or pickup arrangements are made, Andys Moto Services LTD will have the option to return the parts to the supplier or allocate them for resale to other customers.

• If the repair/job/work required is likely to exceed $1000, at Andys Moto Services LTD’s discretion, prepayment in part of the estimated cost may be required before the starting the job.

• In saying this if you are in financial hardship, talk to us, we do allow accounts to be settled over a four-week period within the first 30 days at completion of the work in some situations, but the motorcycle, parts, gear and/or accessories are to stay at Andys Moto Services LTD until paid in full.

AFTER 15 days of completion of work:​

The customer is liable for a $50 per week motorcycle storage fee, until the account is settled in full (including storage fees) at Andys Moto Services LTD’s discretion.

 AFTER 60 days of completion of work:​

The customer is liable for all costs and expenses incurred by Andys Moto Services LTD (including all legal costs) and, at Andys Moto Services LTD discretion, recovery of all costs and expenses under the Contract and Commercial Law Act 2017, subpart 5 (Lien for work done).

Assessment:

A fee the equivalent of one hour of workshop labour is liable by the customer upon completion of the assessment and the customer is informed of the estimated repair cost. This fee may be waived at the discretion of Andys Moto Services LTD.

Insurance:​

Vehicles left on the premises are to be insured by the owner with no liability accepted by Andys Moto Services LTD.

Refunds/ Returns:​

Returns are only accepted with proof of purchase. All returns must be in original packing with all parts and/or accessories in the same condition as when purchased.

 

The customer will be given store credit or a refund into their nominated bank account.

If items are considered special order, and are to be returned to the supplier, the customer must abide by the conditions set out by our supplier/s, these conditions are available upon request.

Make, model and year must be provided to ensure that the correct parts are ordered. If these details are not given Andys Moto Services LTD hold no responsibility for the incorrect fitment of parts and/or accessories.

Deposits:​

Deposits for either parts/accessories and/or vehicles are non-refundable, this may be waived at the discretion of Andys Moto Services LTD.
