The Sherco EB12, EB16 and EB16 Factory are specifically designed for kids as they embark on their two-wheeled journey by way of forming the key foundations of motorcycling while also developing hand-eye coordination, balance and outdoor activity.
 
- 16-inch wheels- Recommended for children 5-6 years of age, or weighing up to 40kg- Children should have an inseam of more than 18 inches/45cm to adequately touch the ground with a slight bend in the knees for optimum sizing

• Furthermore, children can learn to push, balance, and coast in the non-powered mode of both models, which makes for an excellent, gradual introduction. Once the child demonstrates proficient use and understanding of the brake and the ability to coast and brake while standing then a low-power mode via the twist-and-go throttle can be introduced.
Sherco’s premium ‘Factory’ model classification has now expanded from the enduro to the electric balance bike ranks courtesy of a new kid on the block – the EB16 Factory.
Compared to the EB16, the EB16 Factory now provides a higher-spec alternative with a more powerful brushless motor, three speed modes, a rear disc brake, front suspension, a more aggressive tyre tread pattern and styling updates – while still nurturing the fundamentals of motorcycling such as hand-eye coordination, balance and alertness.
Of course, the EB16 Factory continues the fun, silent and environmentally friendly profile of its siblings, as well as a simple twist-and-go throttle, a running time of up to 60 minutes and the option of a non-powered mode for kids to push, balance and coast before activating the brushless motor.
Like its siblings, the EB16 Factory features a battery level display and a host of safety features to inspire confidence in the rider as well as the supervising adult.
Running time is up to 60 minutes of constant use, and recharge time is up to three hours. An additional battery is available for a quick and convenient swap to keep the fun times rolling (runtime will vary depending on speed setting, rider weight and riding conditions).

Additional features include a front plate with number decals, height-adjustable seat, a fully enclosed chain cover and a power cut-off switch built into the brake lever, which automatically cuts power if the rider pulls in the lever, thus preventing a panic throttle twist.
